5 Songs That Are Currently Stuck In My Head

You know those songs you really love, the ones you can’t help but sing along to and that get stuck in your head for days at a time? These are my current top 5:

Spector – Chevy Thunder

This might have been released back in 2012 but it’s still just as catchy. The melody is a real earworm and if you don’t feel the need to sing along (loudly) with ‘CHEVY THUNDER! CHEVY, CHEVY THUNDER!’ then I doubt you’re human.

Walk The Moon – Shiver Shiver

The new Walk The Moon album, Talking Is Hard, is fantastic and it has some super-catchy tracks from Shut Up And Dance, to Avalanche and Portugal but it’s also had me digging back through my iTunes to find their first album and I’ve fallen in love with this song all over again. Amazing.

Catfish and the Bottleman – Fallout

This album has been a favourite of mine recently, I’m almost embarrassed by how much I’ve listened to it and should probably apologise to my neighbors who are probably sick of hearing it by now, but I won’t because it’s amazing. I’m not sure I could pick a favourite off the album, there literally isn’t a bad song on there and it’s one of those albums you want to listen to all the way through but the tracks are still strong on their own too. But, I have to admit, Fallout is the one that really sticks in my head. It’s got that catchy chorus, lyrics you want to sing along to and that last minute ALWAYS makes you want to dance and sing loudly.

I Said Yes – Virginia

I’ve posted about these guys before so I think it’s pretty obvious that they’re one of my favourite bands (plus a couple of weeks ago I finally got the chance to see these guys live and grab a couple of photos) but there’s something about the simplicity of this song which just makes you want to listen to it over and over.

Mary Jane Fonda – I Think I Like It

This has to be my song of the summer, I’m surprised more people haven’t heard of it. It’s fun and catchy and you want to play it loud and dance. It reminds me a lot of Icona Pop’s I Love It, which again leads me to ask – why isn’t it more popular? Regardless, it’s an awesome track which will get stuck in your head!
